Bethan’s passion is working with people to help them resolve emotional pain. She does this by using her extensive skills and experience to make sense of the pain, achieve clarity and create actionable steps so that life is balanced and easier.
Parenting can be incredibly complex. Bethan’s work supports parents to work through difficulties such as anger, anxiety, understanding children’s behaviour, changing parenting patterns, guilt and inter-generational trauma so that parents feel balance across their life. This balance then filters into the lives of children, creating emotional safety, stability and regulation for both child and parent.
Bethan is a Psychotherapist who over the past 15-years has worked with people across a range of addiction, mental health, suicide prevention and homeless services supporting people to change their lives. Her work supports people to discover their unlimited potential by helping them to truly be the best they can be. This means supporting people to tune inwards and make sense of difficulties they have – with themselves and other people – and live a life that doesn’t feel compromised.
Everyone suffers with emotional pain across their life – it’s an integral part of the human experience. So whether it’s trauma, loss, anxiety or relationship difficulties, Bethan’s work gets to the root of the pain by exploring and healing internal wounds. The internal work is also matched with the development of practical tools for day-to-day life so that practical changes are created in abundance too.
Bethan is Mum of 3 and is always working herself to keep meeting the needs of herself and the family. When she has free time Bethan loves being in the garden and finds it’s a great place to unwind, relax and switch the head off. Bethan also loves a good charity shop, tries as hard as possible to live a zero waste life and is always trying to make more time for music and books.
Bethan’s personal and professional experience has taught her that we all experience ups and downs in life. But with the right support, structure and ability to tune inwards and understand what’s going on, it’s possible for life to be in balance.
